Michael W. Ottati, O.D.
Dr. Michael Ottati is an east bay native, graduating from De La Salle High School, receiving his Bachelor's Degree from Saint Mary's College and earning his Doctor of Optometry from the University of California, at Berkeley. Graduating in the top of his clinical class at U.C. Berkeley, Dr. Ottati was the nominee or recipient of many awards and honors, including the Vision Service Plan award, the OD Thesis Clinical Research Award, and the Greenwood award for excellence in clinical care.
Dr. Ottati was one of the first five optometrists in the state of California to be certified by the State Board of Optometry to treat glaucoma, and is excited to be at the forefront of eyecare.

Ashley Chiang Tjoe, O.D.
Dr. Ashley Chiang Tjoe grew up in South Pasadena, CA, and received her Bachelor of Science degree in human biology at the University of California, San Diego.
While obtaining her degree, Dr. Tjoe participated in many medical and optometric mission trips in Taiwan, Arizona, and Mexico with her church. Through her experiences helping people in need of basic medical care, she felt her calling to pursue a career in optometry and deepen her love of patient care.
Dr. Tjoe went on to receive her Doctorate of Optometry at Southern California College of Optometry. Her work experience includes Tripler VA in Honolulu, Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital in Oceanside, and University Eye Center at Los Angeles.
She is a comprehensive, glaucoma-certified optometrist, and her top priority is to provide comprehensive health care. Dr. Tjoe is an advocate for preventative care and patient education of eye diseases, which translates to her thorough eye exams, contact lens fittings, and ocular disease management.
When she is not working with eyes, Dr. Tjoe loves to cook, go on hikes/walks/bike rides with her husband, 2 small kids and fur kid. She has a passion for surfing and snowboarding, although it has been a while after kids, she can still hold her own on a longboard and ride goofy down a mountain if given the opportunity. She also loves to spend quality time in southern California with her family.
